Car detailing to perfection

I used Jim’s group for cleaning two cars in preparation for sale. On the first occasion, Steve turned up 10 minutes early (which I was happy about) and spent a little over 2 hours thoroughly cleaning the inside and outside of the car for a car detail worth $90. I thought that was very good value. I was impressed by the standard so hired him again the next week for the other car we have and this time he turned up on time. I think this time he spent 2.25 hours on the car, but again I found the result to be spotless and perfect. He just got on with the job and was very polite to talk to. He’ll be the first person I contact if I ever need a car detailed again. Because I came back for a 2nd car detail, Steve said I would receive a discount on the second car, but instead I found that he had shampooed my car seats for free without asking me. I think that if I had been given the choice, I would have selected the discount but overall I’m very happy with the service I was provided and thoroughly recommend Jim’s (and Steve) for this particular service.

We had a quick chat and I booked David in the following week for a Clean and Detail. David turned up on time, was well presented, friendly and very professional. I had been using another Car Cleaning Service for around 8 years and during this time I have had 3 different new cars and I can honestly say that David did a far superior job than anyone else during this time. Hamid responded very promptly after initial contact with Jim’s Car Detailing. He was professional and courteous, arriving on site a few minutes before the agreed time. He was also able to work late afternoon on a Sunday which is very helpful and convenient. A great job was done with cleaning the car. The carpets and leather seats are a light colour and Hamid removed all stains, steam cleaned the carpets, polished the leather and it looks almost as good as the day we bought the car. When I asked for a quote from Jim’s Car detailing I didn’t have high expectations that they could do much to my 2000 Holden Astra but BAM! I was blown away by the service Nathan provided. He was on time, professional, efficient and did a fantastic job! I couldn’t believe the attention to detail. I had my astra detailed as I was passing t along to my cousins and I was getting a new car the next day. I will be using Jim’s Car detailing again for my New Car regularly to ensure it stays is great condition and could not find fault in anything. Amazing work. It was great to have someone come to me and not be stranded somewhere while people worked on my car. Will be in touch in 6months 🙂

I called Jim’s with a bit of an ’emergency’ in that my cat had peed in my car and I needed the seat steam cleaned before it dried in forever. When I rang the call centre the lady on the phone said that no one was available (I asked for someone to be sent out straight away…so not surprising), but she said that she would send a message to the Jim’s just in case. Lucky she did because Brendan rang me almost straight away, and was cleaning my car within the hour. He paid special attention to the wee seat. And he did a great job- car very clean and the wee smell pretty much gone. Hard smell to remove so happy with the result.

Caravan Detailing Faultless

We bought a 2002 Penguin Jayco badly needed detailing went looking for a detailer and Jims came up not a group I normally use however lucky for us Virgil Senense specialises in this as part of his Jims Franchise. Every single part of the Van inside and out was detailed to an inch of its life he also tested it for leaks none –yay. I can not recommend Virgil highly enough totally professional has all of the right products and more importantly knowledge of how to get the job done. Highly recommend

My car looks like new

My cars paint was in pretty poor condition and there were some pretty deep scratches in 2 of the panels that probably needed repainting. Ryan was able to buff them out and the car looked like new!

We are extremely happy with the job that Luke did on our 10 years old B-class. The car hasn’t been that clean for 9 years, although it gets cleaned regularly at drive-in car washs (which we won’t be using any more now). There were some tough stains (especially between the front seats) and they are all gone and the car smells fresh and looks very good. We even got a compliment from a neighbour.
It was quick and easy to arrange an appointment. Luke arrived on time and was a pleasure to deal with. We will use him again and are recommending him to any friend who wants their car cleaned.

Brett did a fantastic job detailing my car. I have a dog who sheds quite a bit and Brett was able to get rid of ALL the dog hair stuck to the back seat, in between the seats and underneath the seats. He was really professional and went over his work to make sure he was happy with it and asked me if I was happy with it – it was really nice to see a cleaning professional with high standards. Brett was friendly, punctual and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely book with Jim’s Cleaning again!

Love the way my car looks

I have had Ansley perform a full detail on my BMW 320 back in April. I was very happy with his work. I had him come back today to perform a mini detail on my car and full detail on my daughter’s BMW 220. Once again, Ansley did a magnificent job on both the cars. Car detail – Full detail

I was very concerned when asking Jims to full detail my Mercedes ( black). I was warned by other very expensive car detailers not to use such a service.
After speaking with Veekay and him sending me some pics of his work on black cars – I decided to give it a chance. I could not have been any more pleased. The car looks amazing. It was already in great condition, but he brought it back to showroom gleam!! The interior was brand new and leather seats cleaned. All those dusty spots and hard to reach places were cleaned and new again. There were areas that were difficult to achieve perfect result – but rather than hide or not mention – he pointed them out and explained why. I would definitely recommend Veekay and would definitely use his services again.

I can’t recommend Mike Yeh from Jim’s Car Detailing in Melbourne highly enough.

I chose Jim’s Car Detailing because I read horror reviews of people who visited roadside car washes and then later found all the things they missed. Jim’s had the most comprehensive and well priced car detailing I could find and it was super convenient. I also liked the idea that they finish the job in it’s entirety.

Mike Yeh showed up on time and was very professional. He was very upfront about the few major scratches which would be difficult to treat and then I left him to work. When I returned almost 7 hours later my car looked completely transformed! It went from looking like it came off the back of a truck after 2 weeks driving across Australia (which it did) to showroom condition. I was blown away.

A Great Job

Jason and his assistant did a wonderful job detailing my car. My Blue Heeler gets taken everyday for his run and his hairs were everywhere in the car especially in the back seat. I know from experience how hard it is to get the hairs out of the seats. The windows were shining and the boys had my car looking like new. I would use their service again and would recommend them to my friends.

The best car clean I have ever seen!

Bryce was punctual, quoted me a price before starting and then did the most magnificent job I have ever seen! The car looks brand new, marks and spots that I thought would not come out, he fixed. I thought the carpet in my car was brown until Bryce cleaned it, its actually dark grey. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

Make my prado look new again!

Virgil had the challenge of cleaning my Prado which I use off road on dusty construction sites. It was full of dust and had lots of scratches on the paint work. After the service 95% of the scratches were gone it look like a car from the showroom floor! Will use again.

Ozay Is Awesome

We booked Ozay in to detail the 2 work cars (Lexus SUV & Ford Ranger) to see the quality. We loved his work so we book in every 2 weeks now. We also manufacture Caravans so decided to get him to detail all our Caravans that leave as well. Normally have to give 5 or so days notice which works in well with us. Couldn’t recommend more 🙂

Full car detail was worth every cent and brought my 2 year old car back to new. John even removed all the nasty bumper scrape marks left on my car by people who can’t park properly! Price was significantly lower than other detailers and the cut and polish was a standard inclusion, not an additional charge – took a while but can see why as attention to detail was second to none. Ansley from Jim’s cleaning group came today to detail our white dual cab Hilux ute – which a neighbour’s fence painter had kindly covered in black paint recently! Unfortunately it was the worst job Ansley has ever had to do in regards to paint damage – however, he did an absolutely outstanding job and the ute looks brand new again! This is the 2nd time in 2 yrs that we have used Ansley to detail our ute & both times he was fantastic with the communication & just a really great guy to deal with. Jim’s Car Detailing – Fantastic Work

Brandon from Jim’s Car Detailing in Melbourne responded promptly to my request for a quote. Appointment made and he rang 30 minutes before the appointment to confirm he would be on time. He detailed my 2010 Ford XR6T for private sale and worked tirelessly on it without a break when the outside temperature was above 30 degrees. The result inside the car and external – just spectacular. He even removed some scratches I had put on the car myself through carelessness. I recommend Brandon and will use him again for sure.

April 15th 2018 Update: Jim Car Detailing – Second Experience

In November 2017 (when I wrote my first review), I got Brandon from Jim’s Car Detailing to prepare my 2010 XR6T ready for private sale – and he did a top job. So 2 weeks later I got Brandon back to do paint protection on my new sedan and my wife’s large SUV. Each vehicle took a day to prepare (wash, clay bar, remove swirls, apply paint protection). Brandon recommended I let the paint protection settle for a few days – and then top it up myself with a quality wax (I used Meguires). I felt prompted to write this second review now that the wet weather has started up again, because any water beads off the vehicles very easily. The other benefit has been Brandon recommended I try a snow foam gun (bought a Bowdens and the accessories) and 2 bucket wash method. Since the paint protection and wax, I can usually clean both vehicles just using the snow foam gun on my pressure washer – and blow the vehicles dry with an Ozito 2000W Electric Jet Blower (from Bunnings). Have only had to follow up the snow foam gun with 2 bucket wash occasionally – although this may change as we move in to more regular wet weather. Brandon has again done excellent work on my vehicles – and his advice has been both helpful and spot-on. I have recommended Brandon to my family and friends.

Feedback on great service

We used Shane for a basic clean inside and out after a camping trip. The car is black and was very dirty. Came up like brand new and he turned up on time and charged as per the price quoted. Great prompt same day service and a job very well done. Would not hesitate in recommending Shane 🙂

We had Bryce complete a full detail on our vehicle in preparation to sell it. The car admittedly had been a little neglected in the cleaning department so he had his work cut out for him. He literally spent hours ensuring the upholstery was perfect- including removing ever single dog hair. The car was left looking brand new. We will definitely be returning customers and highly recommend Bryce- great attention to detail!

Eric came and immaculately cleaned my vehicle which was (im ashamed to say) filthy. He did a remarkable job. This service is cheaper and a much better than the car wash places and the best part is They come to you!!! the quality of the job has been better than all the car washes I have taken my car to, and about half the price.

Mobile car cleaning was the best customer service I’ve ever had

David was an absolute star!! When I called the initial lady who picked up said she’d put me through but she didn’t think there was any appointments for today. I told her someone vomited in my car and had to drive it to my new job tomorrow and then class after that. She put me through to David who after hearing my situation managed to move one of his appointments to help me. He did a perfect job and did an extra wheel clean when it rained, for free. What an angel! So impressed!

I recently used Tim from Jim’s for some auto detailing work to be done on a neglected car. We did have some hurdles to face as the cars location wasn’t ideal and it was EXTREMELY hot. My daughter was sick in our car. After scrubbing and wiping and spraying, still could not get the smell out. Adam and his son came on time and worked hard for 2 and 1/2 hours to detail the interior of the car – very good value for money.
Like magic the smell is gone, not a trace left. Will be calling again when we need a cut and polish.

Had an interior clean and car seat shampooing. The stain was old and Sam told me that as it was old it may not come out but it had completely disappeared. The rest of the cast looked like new. Great service.

More than just a good job…the car is like new.

Based in Port Melbourne a man named Ansley comes to clean everyone’s car at our office. He does an absolutely amazing job, all the cars look new. The best things about Ansley is that he is very passionate about cars and can also offer great advice to keep your car running at its best. We have all been converted and wouldn’t take our cars to anyone except Ansley. He is back here on Monday and we cannot wait!

Care Detailing

I have used Jim’s Car detailing services with a previous vehicle several years ago and was very happy with the result. I decided to use them again for our 4 year old Kia Sportage and again was very satisfied with the work carried out by Andrew.
Although the vehicle is garaged and cleaned regularly Andrew managed to bring it up to virtually showroom condition.
Value for money is good and I would be happy to use Jim’s Car Detailing again.

Absolutely incredible service. I have been using Ainsley Starr from Jims Car Detailing for a little over 6 months now and his passion and skill is simply unmatched. He comes in and details my company’s 4x vans on a regular basis and I am never unsatisfied by the result. Consistency is key in this field and I am always sure I will get an amazing result. Just the other day my Mercedes got keyed and Ainsley managed to somehow remove the visible signs of it and give the car complete detail taking the car back to the way it was the day I drove it out of the dealership. Looks like new

I get my two cars washed monthly by Allan from Jim’s Car Detailing. Allan is very punctual and keeps me informed by text if there are any delays or if he is available earlier than the schedule appointment time. Allan sends me a text reminder each month and we agree on a day and time by text (this is good for me as I am frequently overseas). The results are always beyond expectation and the cars look like new at least for a few days until it rains! I am very happy with Allan and Jim’s Car Detailing & have recommended Allan to a number of my friends.
